Ask Yumio about the take-off

Lines read from the drawings wait in Take-off to review until an engineer approves them. The review chat is a side panel that knows which lines you selected. Nothing changes until you apply it.

Step by step

  1. 1In Take-off to review, check each quantity against its drawing: the sheet links under a line open the drawing in Yumio's viewer at that line. Correct the quantity in its box, or delete the line.
  2. 2Tick the box at the start of the lines you want to ask about.
  3. 3Press Ask Yumio. The Ask Yumio about this take-off panel opens; its top line says what you are asking about.
  4. 4Tap a suggestion such as Why is it this quantity? or Split by floor, or type your own. With no line selected you can ask what was missed (You missed …) or Are all doors counted?.
  5. 5Send it. Yumio answers from the line's own records and says where they come from. A proposed change shows old → new: press Apply to make it or Cancel; Undo takes it back.
  6. 6Approve the lines: the tick on a line (Approve), or Approve all. Red lines are resolved one by one, never in bulk.

What you see on the screen

  1. 7A change of more than 10% of the line's value asks you to tick I confirm: this changes the line by more than 10% before you apply it.
  2. 8Anything that needs the drawings read again (something missed, a check, a box drawn on a sheet) shows its price in credits first.
