Tenders

Rate library

The Rate library holds your past priced BOQs and price books. Tenders are priced from it, and every rate keeps the project it came from. The owner, project managers and the QS / technical office import and remove files.

Step by step

  1. 1Press Import past BOQ and choose a priced BOQ or price book (Excel .xlsx, Word .docx or PDF). Check what was read and skipped, which sheets to keep and the project details, then save it.
  2. 2Find a rate in Search past rates, in English or Arabic (for example: gypsum ceiling). Each result shows the project, the date and the rate per unit.
  3. 3Under Past projects, press a project to see all its priced lines and filter them.
  4. 4Set the Escalation: the yearly rise applied to old rates when a tender is priced. The owner taps the figure to change it.
  5. 5Old BOQs in your mailbox? Old BOQs from email searches a linked company mailbox (inbox and sent mail) for BOQs and quotations, and adds the priced ones.

What you see on the screen

  1. 6Priced lines counts every rate in the library; Newest prices is the date of the newest project.
  2. 7A currency badge on a project card means its prices came in another currency than the company's.
