Money across projects

The Money page shows the company's money project by project: what the contract is worth with variations, the profit Yumio forecasts, what you spent, what the client certified and paid, and your cash. It is for the owner, project managers, QS and accountants.

Step by step

  1. 1Open Money in the Money tab. The page Money across projects lists every project you can see, one row each.
  2. 2Check Forecast margin for each project. A green figure is at or above your minimum margin; a red one is below it.
  3. 3Compare Cost so far with Certified (IPCs) and Collected to see how far billing and payment follow the work. A line under a project's name shows variations still Waiting on the client.
  4. 4Watch Cash position. It turns red when the project has cost more than it has brought in.
  5. 5Press a project's code or name to open its Money tab, with the cost lines and the cash flow month by month.

What you see on the screen

  1. 6Contract with variations is the contract value plus the approved variations, added up for the projects in the company's currency.
  2. 7The Forecast margin tile is the forecast profit of all projects as a share of their contract value. Its badge shows your minimum; the tile turns red below it.
  3. 8Collected is what clients paid on certified IPCs; the line below it gives the total certified.
  4. 9Cash position is the money in (payments, advance received and retention released) minus the cost so far.
