Handover

The Handover tab is the project's handover checklist: as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, test certificates, the signed final account, and the snags all closed. The owner, project managers, the QS and site engineers keep it; subcontractor accounts don't see it.

Step by step

  1. 1On a project with no checklist yet, press Start the checklist to add the usual items.
  2. 2For each item, press Upload documents to attach its files, and set its status to To do, Done or Not needed.
  3. 3For a warranty, press Details and fill in who gives it and when it starts and ends.
  4. 4Use Add an item at the bottom for anything else the client needs.
  5. 5Press Build handover pack to open the printable pack: cover, index, checklist, warranties, snag close-out and document list. Download documents (N) saves every file in one zip, a folder per item.

What you see on the screen

  1. 6The bar counts the items done out of those needed, plus the snags. It reads Ready to hand over when all are done.
  2. 7All snags closed is read live from the snag list: it is done only when no snag is open or waiting to be checked.
  3. 8A warranty shows Ends within 30 days or Ended when its end date is near or past.
