Project procurement

The Procurement tab of a project works out the latest order date for each BOQ line: needed on site − supplier lead time − a buffer. It is for the owner, project managers, the QS, procurement and accountants; site staff see the deliveries coming and can ask for materials.

Step by step

  1. 1Check Coming to site for the POs due and when. Press Record delivery when the goods arrive.
  2. 2In What to order, and by when, set each line to Buy, Subcontract or Not bought, and the date it is Needed on site.
  3. 3Tick the lines to buy together and press Create PO for N items: the new PO opens with those lines filled in.
  4. 4Tick Show covered and not-bought items to see the lines already ordered or not bought as well.
  5. 5Lower down, Purchase orders lists this project's POs, and the material requests from site follow. Press Create PO on a request to order it.

What you see on the screen

  1. 6Order by is the last day to place the order. The badge at the end of the line says Order overdue, Order this week, Later, No date or Ordered.
  2. 7Best supplier is the supplier offer Yumio picked for the line, with its price and lead time. Ordered shows what is already on POs, and what was received.
