Project BOQ
The BOQ tab is the project's bill of quantities with the progress on each line. Quantities done come from site updates once they are confirmed. The owner, project managers and the QS can add and remove lines; everyone on the project can read it.
Step by step
- 1Press Upload BOQ (Excel or PDF) and pick the file, or drop it on the card. A PDF is read with AI.
- 2Or press Paste BOQ from Excel, paste the rows (headers too, any column order), check how many lines were read, and press Add lines.
- 3Read each line across: Qty from the contract, Done to date, what was added Today, and % of BOQ.
- 4Press the small arrow next to a line's Done figure to see the progress entries behind it. The owner and project managers can type the right quantity there (0 removes it) and press Correct.
- 5To remove lines, tick them and press Delete selected. Lines that already have progress, an IPC, a subcontract or a PO are kept, and Yumio tells you which.
What you see on the screen
- 6The card title shows the number of lines and the BOQ total. Value done under it is the value of the work done (done quantity × rate) and its share of the total.
- 7A red Above BOQ badge marks a line done past its contract quantity. The same count shows in Above BOQ at the top of the project. Such lines usually need a variation.
- 8When refs are numbered (2.1, 2.2…), lines are grouped in sections. Each Section row shows the section's total and how much of it is done.
